     Gary Hoover began his career as an electrician in the industrial market.  In its early days, Hoover Electric focused on the detailed, highly technical work of renovating and servicing industrial facilities.

     As Hoover Electric's reputation grew, the company began to see a steady flow of commercial projects.  These commercial projects transformed the company into what it is today - a full service contractor for residential, industrial/ commercial, renovation, design-build and project consulting.  Hoover has the resources to handle all the electrical needs for any size project.  Our experience and proven ability in coordinating with the trades on small to large scale projects makes us the ideal choice and assures our customers of the most professional, cost effective and quality electrical work, from the ground up.

     We transformed our initial success in smaller industrial and commercial projects to capable management of larger and more complex projects, including renovations and design-build applications, which form the cornerstone of Hoover Electric's business today.  Through it all, Gary Hoover has maintained a personal commitment to providing exceptional work, in the field, and as a businessman involved in the industry and it's associations.

The Residential Division field staff has been increased to better serve our residential customers. Hoover Electric is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Michigan Electrical Contractors Association, and Associated Builders and Contractors. 

      Hoover Electric offers a five year warranty on workmanship. Lifetime warranty on complete service upgrade. Free electrical safety inspections. Returning customers can receive valued discounts off any electrical service or repair. Once established as a customer, you will receive information on how to save on your future electrical project(s). Senior citizens can get a discount for all residential electrical work. All costs are discussed up front. You know the cost of the job before it begins.

      Hoover Electric now offers payment through major credit cards. Qualified residential customers can now obtain a one, two or three year payment plan for their accomplished electrical work.

      UPDATE 2003.09.19   The Blackout of 2003 had posed a challenge for Hoover Electric, Inc. Having the knowledge and capacity to react to emergencies at all levels, Hoover Electric was able to respond to the needs of commercial industry and residents. Initial power outage reaction was to provide power for our continued abilities to respond to emergency needs. Once alternative power was established, our technicians efficiently responded to the needs of our customers with in the first hour of the blackout. Hoover Electric had responded to first come first serve calls and had to later prioritize the needs of our customers.

      Hoover Electric has always provided alternative power sources for our customers as required. Recognizing a growing market for the needs of alternative power sources especially due to the 2003 Blackout, we have expanded our operations in response. Hoover Electric is reacting to the needs of our customers and we will continue to offer alternative power sources to commercial industry and residential levels at a cost effective value.
